According to Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), on September 7, 2014, C.J.I.S. (Criminal Justice Information Services) installed a new IT system. As a result of this installation, they are experiencing delays in processing. At this time, their anticipated processing time for an Identity History Summary is approximately 11-13 weeks. They also suggest that you allow additional time for mail delivery.
